METRO three issues by Nicholas Cheveldave

The collages are put together with found newspaper pages from Metro; free daily commuter papers distributed in London. The collages also feature personal and found images Cheveldave has collected from urban environments and rural nature. The book’s theme takes the housing market’s rhetoric of fantasy-buying and the dream home and juxtaposes this capitalistic aspiration with the reality of the excessively high cost of city living and the anxiety of overpopulation and personal debt.
